The Amelkis Golf Club is situated in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains on the outskirts of Marrakech. Designed by the acclaimed Cabell B. Robinson, this is a magnificent 18 hole course interspersed with palm groves and papyrus reeds. You will be faced with some exceptionally challenging holes, with its deep bunkers, rolling terrain, water traps and exotic rough. The course also has built-in "khettaras", or 11th century irrigation works built by Almoravides hydraulics experts, which creates a complex of clever exertions for the golfer. This golf course is the most challenging golf course of Marrakech, and has been rated among the best courses of Morocco.

Built in the 1920s by the pasha of Marrakech, the Royal Golf Club of Marrakech is one of the longest established in Morocco. Constantly renovated and improved, it is also one of King Hassan II's favourite courses. Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and General Eisenhower have also played here. It is a course of extreme beauty.
Located at the feet of the Atlas Mountains, the course has cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees. It is an "English style" course with strategically placed bunkers protecting its greens and testing tall trees and palms.
